TulaSalud is responsible for the technical development and implementation of project activities, as well as monitoring project implementation and results. Established in Coban, Guatemala in 2008, TulaSalud has built a long and very successful partnership with the Guatemalan Ministry of Health in delivering health education and training. TulaSalud is also responsible for liaising with other Guatemalan institutions and generally promoting effective communication with national health officials.

Global Affairs Canada

Global Affairs Canada

Global Affairs Canada (GAC) is a key partner in TulaHealth’s Guatemala programs, co-financing TulaHealth’s work through ... [its partnership funding for international assistance?]. GAC is responsible for managing the Government of Canada's diplomatic and consular relations, international trade, and international development and humanitarian assistance around the world. GAC, via the Embassy of Canada to Guatemala, also assists TulaHealth in its efforts to coordinate with MSPAS.

Guatemalan Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS)

The Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (Ministerio de Salud Pública y Asistencia Social, or MSPAS) is responsible for formulating and enforcing the policies related to preventive and curative health in Guatemala. TulaHealth’s project activities are designed and implemented in coordination with MSPAS, and conform to the primary health objectives and strategies established by MSPAS and the Government of Guatemala.
